I am 51 and as a teen the German ones were from $3 to $6 depending on which store you got them and the Japan ones were from $2 to $4. Those were NYC prices at least. Hey AL are you a dist for these through Linder?

Razor when checking out Ebay be sure you dont get the cheap Japan knock off. They are sold there on an off. I have never seen them much cheaper than $20 when they are the real thing. I have got some of the different color ones from Ebay myslef. but all around the $20 mark.

They never stopped the carbon steel ones, and in fact the stainless are now not listed. I have many of them, in different colors too, and the small non lcking size also. See them being made:

I bought the stoger a couple of months back at Dicks sporting goods for around $350, but that was with a blue finish. I would have got the stainless but they did not have them. Well made shotgun, but I have not go to shoot it yet...

I personaly dont buy into metals that are not in the shape of a knife...lol...but a guy who works for me buys gold often and is big on buying silver now too. He spent several years on Wall Street and has a fairly good sense for those markets.

I looked at his site, and his prices are good, but the 13" are marked AKC which means they steal the trade mark from those that help run this site. Does that make them a "good guy" here? Not to me! It took awhile to make Cam and Stu see that a few years back. Lets not forget this is a site paid for ...

Well if they are held up in Customs, then it maybe a real long wait...and all their future orders will be on a hold and watch list for ever.

I did a quick law check and it seems that they are leagl in SD ( do not hold me to that). They can not be mailed via USPS and can not be sent accross state lines as merchandise. Here is a link to the federal law:
