Re: Vintage German WWII fantasy switchblade
Well, I was hoping somebody else on here would have one or have seen one or something. I'm sure this isn't the only one out there, I saw one other picture on the internet of a very similar knife, absolutely no information though.

Vintage German WWII fantasy switchblade
Here is a knife I have that I can't find much information about. Let me start by saying that I am not trying to offend anyone or represent any ideology by posting this, I am a knife collector and it's a knife that I don't know much about. I've seen people on other forums get upset by nazi, kkk, "fak...

Re: Switchblade for rescue workers
SOG makes a knife called the escape which has seatbelt cutter and glass breaker. It's not an auto, but is one of those thumb stud assisted open knives.

Re: Everyone's first Balisong?
I got my first balisong when I was about 13, I definitely had it at that age because I remember taking it to school and showing it to a friend of mine. I remember being really secretive about it though, I knew they'd take it away in a second. My parents were antique dealers so I was always going to ...

Re: Rostfrei import swedge blade
nice looking knife. Definitely Italian, seems to be a swivel bolster from the pics. Looks to be of pretty good quality, nicely shaped scales, possibly soldered bolsters, can't really see it well enough. Anyway, I'd guess it's from the 60's, maybe 70's but somebody on here will probably know for sure.

those are kinda cool, pretty much a novelty item but they have some collector value. I think they usually sell in the $25-$50 range depending on condition, etc.

Re: Trapdoor
I find it interesting that the issue Mr. Beltrame was having was blade movement in the open position. This seems to be the unsolvable problem that plagues otf knife design. Having said that I'd love to see somebody start making those trapdoors again. I saw one for sale the other day and I clicked on...

Re: 80's Super stiletto springer
thanks for the info. This is the only one I've ever seen in person, I'd like to find some in other colors but they seem pretty hard to find these days. The quality definitely isn't the best but it's still decent compared to modern chinese made crap. I had a side opener I bought in Gatlinburg a few y...

80's Super stiletto springer
Here's one from my collection I didn't even know I still had until recently. I found it in a box of junk when going through the few remaining relics from my childhood. I've had it since I was 14, and am amazed I didn't lose it or get rid of it over the years. I've seen a few pics of these on the int...
