Re: Leverletto Repair

Just purchased a "defect" Leverletto that 9 times out of 10 would not make it past "10 o'clock" (if 12 o'clock is fully open and 6 o'clock is fully closed). Tried every lubricant I could find and.... same result! Finally looked closely and saw the tang had a pretty sharp corner that seemed to be par...

If eBay gives you a hassle, there's always the "auto friendly" site Sharperdeals.net! Or bladeauction.net!

Re: 10" Hubertus horn handle Kris blade

Does it look similar to this (out of stock) item at bladeplay.com?

Curious to know more about your knife. How old? Where purchased?

Thank you,

George

Loose Safety fix?

I apologize if this topic has already been addressed, but does anyone have a remedy for a loose stiletto safety? I have a great little knife I would like to carry from time to time, but the darn safety won't stay in the "safe" position! If it was too tight, I could lubricate the slider or even try t...

"4th- double blade activated by. Single button."

Cool! I always wondered if any "double switchblades" existed! Has anyone else seen/made one of these rarities?

Re: LATAMA Square Button Switchblade

That is very kind of you! Makes sense, too. The gentleman that sold you the Latama probably thought it was an old "Fiat". Turns out it was a highly sought after "Ferrari"! I'll bet you made his day (or week)!

Re: LATAMA Square Button Switchblade

Just curious, were the square button Latamas listed in the 1951 shipping records all 13"? Or were there also some 9" or 11" models? Dang, I wish I had a time machine! Best regards, George We're all watching...... wanting to see who pays $4K+ for an old beat-up knife. I mean, I can see paying ...

Re: SKM 4.5" mini stiletto

I bought a black simulated horn 4.5" from Bladeplay about a year ago and I like it. Seems to be built just like its "big brothers" with brass liners, sliding safety, etc. My only quibble is the swivel bolster is pretty loose. That is, I can wiggle it back and forth a few millimeters, whether the bla...

Re: FRANK BELTRAME does not offer refund or replacement

So sorry to hear about your friend's package going AWOL. Just curious, does "money sent as gift" refer to an electronic payment system?

I'm really surprised FB would send a package overseas without signature confirmation, insurance, etc.

Take care,

George

Wow! What a lucky find! I've always liked the "secret agent" type gadgets. Probably spent WAY too many hours watching James Bond/Get Smart/Man from UNCLE type programs as a kid! :D
