Re: American Swinguard Stiletto
Hello Free,
I remember when you first posted that super amazing knife. Man, I wish I had some extra cash on hand; but I can't I already spent my knife money for the month of May and June. I can't imagine that lasting more than a day befoe it's gone.

Re: AB swingaurds
Hi leighdog, What Viking said. Grain is one of the best ways to try and figure out what type of wood you have on your knife. Color can vary due to stains used, lighting when photographed and even the computer screen can alter color. If your computer monitor or laptop has a camera you may be able to ...

Re: Frosolone find
Hello Panzer, From what I Know and it's not much the knives stamped Frosolone came from Frosolone. I think these knives were made between 1940 and 1960. There are several styles stamped Frosolone. There were multiblades; they were 13 inch and single blade 10 inch. Only two 13" are known to exist in ...

Re: How can I keep my Switchblades?
Everyone has their own opinion on this topic. Some say closed some open. I leave mine open. If you look at the collections of the Italian knife makers all their knives are open. So, I followed their lead.

Re: FORUM KNIVES
I would be be honored to oversee a new Forum Knife program if I could see it from beginning to end. This particular year was simply jinxed from the beginning. It had nothing to do with the Gentlemen that proposed the idea, nothing to do with the way it was handled,it had nothing to do with our Itali...

Re: Imitation Horn
I think imitation horn can warp, twist and shrink. Mr. John, It comes from an Imitation bovine, a very, very, endangered species. It's big decline was due to the over production of widgets. Best regards, Bonz Mr. Bonz, The production of widgets is out of control and now an issue of nation security....

My Frank Beltrame 5mm 9" and 11" kick like a mule. Like natcherly said
JohnDue to variations in heat treatment of the back/kick spring, such hard firing is not always to be expected.

Re: leverletto?
Hello Bird, I like it a lot. The custom release lever is cool idea. I can see the gap your talking about. I made a similar mistake on one of my lever locks. It's so upsetting; since then I've been extra careful and fit the top scale to the bolster before I trim it to size, but anything can happen al...
