Most of the stag button open/close knives have been going for 90 to 120 dollars recently. At least the 4 or 5 I have put on my watch list.

I don't have one, so I don't really know how great they work, but a cell phone would seem to solve most of the survival problems now days depending on were you are headed. I have no real experience with them though, so maybe I am all wet.

I always liked one of these boy scout cable saws in my kit too. Roll up small, but will do some serious cutting.
