Neat to see this.
That bees wax is a good cast lead bullet lubricant when mixed with olive oil. Warm in a sauce pan at low heat, mix is 1:1 by weight. The pictured .455 Webley bullet is lubricated with a bees wax derivative on the sizing press pictured. Folks buy that wax.

Re: LATAMA Square Button Switchblade
There was a Latama that sold on Gunbroker a few weeks ago(Not like this one). It was "Scabby" at best and the bidding was almost $500 when I glanced at it. I couldn't believe the bid attention it was getting. They probably get international bidders there. I don't know of any ITAR or State. Dept. res...

Nice, I like it.
Maybe her next photo will be her with a revolver in her mouth. She made an adult decision to do the photo shoot, and got an adult response from the entire country. And now she is the victim?

Re: M95 Rangers knife (Sissipuuko) Finland
Hey Ian, Glad it is just out-patient care. Least you can sleep and relax at home. I go to the Dr. this next week to see if I am cleared to fly. Here is that Korvo. I have to admit, I had no interest in this knife when I purchased it. It was left over after selling off an estate, and the dealer accep...

They going have any with thick blades? If not the knife style is plenty available in ebay and gunbroker. What will set them apart?

Hey Ian,
Good you are mending. Cool knife. Probably same era as that Mikov you identified for me. I have a special forces Korvo knife from Chile. Neat stuff.

Re: Mikov auto - horn, RWL34 utility blade + tools
That's a nice knife. Very useful for real living. I have just a dagger blade Mikov. The blade config makes mine a problem to carry. I'm around a lot of LE folks and controlled areas. The dagger blade looks double edger which is a no-no. That blade looks like a regular pocket knife. What does that mo...

Re: Old 12 inch blade with 6 inch handle - What is this thing?
I've got the Hamilton reference book "The Ames Sword Company" and I didn't see anything that struck me as possibly being this blade. There was a Horse Mounted Soldiers Knife but it was single edge, and the tang is 3 rivet. I was really into the Artillery Short Swords for a while and was going to col...

Re: Old 12 inch blade with 6 inch handle - What is this thing?
Leftovers of a Artillery Short Sword. It looks to narrow down at the waist of the blade and get heavier at the tip. I would think a point would have a socket. So probably a had held blade of some sore. Where did you find it?

Re: SKM and AKC for every day use
A friend gifted me this Speed Hunter. It would be a good everyday carry piece. It is an easy knife to find. Being a lock back it is probably good for most cutting chores. I usually use a pocket knife to open an envelope or cut off a piece biltong or a droewor.

Re: Bladebid Whats with this place?
Am I missing something here is this normal workmanship? .. and then again you did mention that you didn't even seek a replacement, so, assuming they might have made things right, is it completely their fault at this point? I sent this knife back and the replacement had the same issue. So I received...
