Re: What do we know about BO/BC?

Wasn't me who did that, only time I put sand paper to blade is 3000grit lightly removing scratches. I quite possibly took a picture of a knife I picked up that someone did that. When the blade is closed, I can pull it up just enough to where it should sit under pressure. Believe me, when I come up w...

Re: What do we know about BO/BC?

Corvus, thank you for the info! This one has a great lock up, the sear holes look great, no wallowing (sp?) at all. The blade has been sharpened, but still looks great. Even if it didn't stay closed, I wouldn't care. It will sit open, on display. Fellas, for what I spent on this... $50, I'd say it's...

What do we know about BO/BC?

So... I picked up a bo/bc, couldn't beat the price. But now that it's in hand, it seems off. Steel liners and steel pins. The only things I need to do to it are, make a new spring, and figure out how to make a button... haha So... anything henky? Edit- added more pictures. https://i.imgur.com/Wp8Ldq...

Re: Possible Black Beauty?

The reason I thought it was, is because of the stamp. According to one of the ads (referenced Switchblades of Italy), it would have had the Made In Italy stamp. It just seemed to fit.

Re: Possible Black Beauty?

It's still a nice knife.... I kind of feel my "likes" are leaning towards old picklocks. That brings up something we truly need, whippersnapper. A guide of values. Just a rough real value. But I do know it's all about how much you're willing to pay... As we all know the 'bay has horribly inflated pr...

Re: Possible Black Beauty?

I do understand that. I saw it, looked about right, got excited... haha. I asked because I know that not all the beauty's were marked. Figured I would get some thoughts on it. This is just a small part of my learning process.

Re: AGA Campolin Classic Line Picklocks

The firing hard part.... the faster the blade moves, the bigger the smile.... My OKC strikefire is slower than a cheap chinese spring assist... it was disappointing... my protech godson is super fast... had a smile worthy of a christmas picture!! Now, back to the topic. To me, the power or kick isn'...
