Re: EdgeCo. Knife?

Yes I agree with the differences. I have seen these sold with the exposed lever spring and hidden spring. The nail nick ones were often shipping with no spring in them and it took a three seconds to install the spring.... Thanks Tom, and who sold those that you had to install the springs yourself? ...

Duncan has a stag ones for sale on a FB Page.
What's different about the one I posted, is the nail nick in the blade and the exposed area in the center of the scales. Threw me off.

Cool

What book is that in mate ?

JV, that’s really nice. Is that a horn handle?
Thanks Thom! Actually just pearlex. I think it's a good looking knife in white pearlex. Different.

EdgeCo. Knife?

Hi all...anyone familiar enough with the EdgeCo. knives or possibly saved old catalogs that may show if this was a knife they offered? Certainly not German. Hopefully not Asian. Possibly Italian? It's an "ok" knife, though not exactly screaming high quality lol. If it was EdgeCo., any idea of where ...

Hey Chris

Nice knife mate, what does (inter) stand for and who made it ?

Cheers
Joe
Thanks for looking Joe. From what I've read: INTER: INdustrai TEmpirini Reclame was run by E. & A. Centazzo and G. Patrizio (whoever they may be) that dealt mostly with advertising pocket knives.

9" INTER Picklock

9" INTER over ITALY picklock with more than unfortunate blade loss due to sharpening. (Can't win 'em all). INTER: INdustrai TEmpirini Reclame. No "D" cutouts on this piece....

Re: 1950's Japanese Picklock

Thank you! I've added a few more JPLs the last couple years. The Rizzys came in so many variations, especially with the pins and guards. The single pin, standard pin, no pins (scales tucked under bolsters). Standard guards, no guards, batwing guards, moustache guards. Standard bolster, step bolster....
