Re: 60's Swedged Swinguard Stiletto Switchblade Set

I appreciate all the comments, thanks guys (and girl). Here's a new one on me, it's a 7 1/2" Italian lockback rizzuto in brazilian horn (original scales) and it has a few other twists such as ultra slim profile, flat nickel guards and a capsule shaped button. The big block "INOX" tang stamp isn't so...

Re: 1950's 11 inch picklocks

Amazing line-up Orangeboy!! My faves have got to be the Edwin J, the jumbo stamped Omega & the Romo kriss (for obvious reasons). You find the coolest stuff 8)

Re: Movie Switch's

The Italian cannibal films are a ghastly experience. I haven't seen any in years, but I recall in "Cannibal Holocaust" one of those real animal deaths is a muskrat killed in close up by that rizzuto. "Cannibal Ferox" had a nato otf, "Eaten Alive" had a big 11" white pearlex stiletto and "Man from De...

Re: Movie Switch's

 I don't think I'd want a Pro-Tech to the face like that! Great screen shots and the gifs are too cool 8) One film that I've heard a lot of switchblade talk on is "Savage Streets". Among many appearing in the film, Linda Blair pulls out a huge 13" - 15" otf! Or so I'm told. I'm ashamed to adm...

Re: I found another Outsiders knife

 Congrats on a great snag, it is just like Two-Bit's!! I knew you'd sniff one out. The display is another stunner, that broken beer bottle is the icing on the cake! Didn't even think of that. Wish they were on my wall!! Great props 8)

Re: Movie Switch's

With all the rizzy/rizzy clone exposure I figured this was the best thread to post this on... I didn't expect stumbling onto a smooth scaled Korean rizzy last weekend while yard sale hopping. This one was found locally, up until now the Korean rizzies I'd seen all had flat grind blades. Not only is ...

Re: Movie Switch's

This thread has turned into something incredible. I haven't seen many of these films, there's way more rizzy clones in movies than I knew about! BTB, your the king of screen shots! I had the damnedest time finding a smooth black scaled nato like in Nightmare on Elm St. But I finally did snag one a f...

Re: Another for the show (maybe)

 Great job bill! I love it, the maltese in stag was incredible too. I couldn't begin to imagine the feeling of completing creations like that, by hand no less. Whoever got them is a lucky man.

Re: Ace Merrill's Switchblade... Rizzuto?

Glad to see all the rizzy love. I've never seen Johnny Dangerously, but it looks like a big Korean to me. I loved Christopher Lloyd's character "Switchblade Sam" in the early 90's film Dennis the Menace. He carried, and was named after the same 10 1/2" Korean...how can such a cheap, flea market knif...

Re: Ace Merrill's Switchblade... Rizzuto?

Wow, a switchblade in The Breakfast Club??!! I don't remember there being one! I'll have to see this again soon. I'm having issues making out details in the pics. If the blade is super reflective then it's an old Japanese one. The Korean & Taiwan had blades finished with a greyer, almost but not qui...

Re: "Christine" Movie knife

Cool story Tom, never heard all those details!!! My 10 1/2" came from Barry Adams, one of the leftovers from when you hooked him up I'd say, perfect action and no blade play at all 8) But I'll tell ya, he didn't let it go too cheap!! My 8 1/2" came from Ebay...the seller had a huge pile and claimed ...

Re: "Christine" Movie knife

Glad to see more Christine fans!! I've indeed noticed it looks like 3 rizzies in the scene. Minty, very nice step bolster for the close-up yogurt stab, trashed step bolster for the floor drop and a batwinged laying on the floor and possibly when Arnie looks up at Buddy with eyesight blurry. But I ke...
