Two New Customs
Not long ago I received a couple Custom Autos that I'd like to share. They were made by a maker in Houston named HR Griffin. I know they're not Italians that are so popular on this forum, but they are unique in their own right. The larger of the two measures in at 11.5" and weighs a hefty 17.5 oz. I...

Sweet!! I love the blue liner, filing and jigged bone combo. Gives it an Earthy, "Hand me Down", Heirloom quality look! Very soothing to the eye....

Re: New Otf's from Böker
These knives would still have to meet Boker's Quality Control Standards no matter where they are manufactured. I swear by all the Bokers I own and am quite confident they will not lower their standards. That would be the Kiss of Death if they were just starting to break into the world of automatics....

Re: 6" Lever Lock Abalone Laminate
Wow! That's purty! I have a 6" AKA that I'd like to "Mangle" one of these days. I use it for everything and would be Lost without it. There are "Kits" you can get to do this?

Isn't Toledo, Ohio also the hometown of the 40's and 50's comedian Danny Thomas?

Re: mcusta catana series.black/blue
Mcusta makes beautiful knives. I have tried to find one of the collector series, but they won't even tell me who made the knife so that I can have it custom made. Once the series is sold out they will retire the design and Never make another one like it. Here's a picture of it. It just seems to have...

Re: Paul Panak aka Burn 11 inch Ivory Picklock
Thanks for your prompt response, Mr. Ayla - Not a "tangent" [/i] atall. Mr. Clifton's definition of "blade play" [/i] is different than mine. I don't consider any of my four Due Buoi stilettos to have any "blade play." [/i] I predict that you will be mos' pleased with yours, so quit fretting! :P HO...

Re: Paul Panak aka Burn 11 inch Ivory Picklock
Thank you kindly Mr. Bear. You're totally right about havin' a different concept of Blade Play. I have tried so many times to get that One Swinguard that locks up tight enough for my taste. The Lockbacks see to have this problem more than the others, like the frame lock and liner lock. I must say wi...
