FS: 80's Silver Bullet Retracto Knife (Edge Co. import, Korea)

Back of Soldier of Fortune ad knife, this was an 80s era legal "switchblade" similar to the Tekna retracto. It's a fixed blade knife with an OTF cover. Works perfectly, no issues, cover snaps out and back quickly. Box is tatty and imprint on knife does not match but knife and cordura sheath are EX. ...

Re: Ring pull fishtail

Really cool variant. I really wonder why the Italian makers don't revisit some of these designs? I'd buy that, doubt I am the only one.

Make mine an 11" please, dark horn, red dot safety, and bayonet grind too.

Thx!

Re: Movie & TV Knives

I only have 1, a Terminator 2 replica. Scrolling craigslist posts for knives and it had just been listed. It was close by and cheap so I nabbed it. This is a web pic, mine is put away...somewhere. Actually well made and balanced. Feels somewhat like a large Sykes-Fairbairn - https://rusknife.com/upl...

I see some blown apart Rizz, classic. What is the one at the top left with the wine red scales?

I need a stag, that is a great looking knife.

The long false-edge bayonet grind really sets it off.

Very nice! I finally got a Mikov in an auction lot. First time I'd handled one. Amazed how hard they fire.

Re: Why I don't work on knives myself

Condolences even though months beyond the sting. I have that exact knife, I believe with a '59 date as well. It is indeed military, a 1st version German Bundeswehr paratrooper knife ("Bundeswehr Kappmesser Fallschirmjäger 1. Version nur Griffstück Eickhorn 1959"). They are not too hard to find but y...

Re: Is this an antique straight razor?

ToolsofOld, Without seeing it closer and from the pic it doesn't look all that old to me. The patina looks forced and the borders seem very well defined. I think it is a newish blacksmithing project. It is well done for sure though, it took some skill to make it. Although you're in the right part of...

I figured as much. Puts me in the nothing to lose mangling & for science attempt.

Looking through my lost cause box discovered I have a Taiwan sex pin one with the same issue. I think I will try that one first.

This unfortunately, bend starts about 1/3 back from bolsters about even with button.

So just bent back to shape and nothing else re: temper?

Thanks for the reply.
