Re: 14cm Italian PickLock Stiletto's Oreste DiBon

I have several of those with swivel bolsters and they are made old style with rocker button assemblies and the safeties all work well. I think they are still making them because PVK Vegas has had them a couple of times recently. If they made one with a flat-grind blade, I would consider it for EDC.

Re: New Boker XXL Kalasnikov

Always thought Kalasnikov's were great knives for the money and still have a one or two Ak-47's that I bought a long time back, but always wished they had a sliding safety ( have had some bad luck with knives popping in my pocket). About three years ago I bought a Boker Plus Strike model for about ...

Re: Mini Microtech Collection

Nice and I carry a UTX-85 or UTX-70 and the 70 is the best office knife ever! I've thought about getting a blue Dirac but don't care for the double edge. It looks cool but is not the best choice for EDC IMO.

Re: Movie Switchblades

I doubt many modern knives will become collectible like some of the older knives. For something to really become collectible, it has to have not been marketed as a collectible item when it was first sold. Too many modern knives are sold as collectible things, which will prevent them from becoming h...

I wish they would make them again and I would buy one for my EDC rotation.

It's hard to think that you didn't use it. If I had owned it I would have used it. Were you ever tempted?
No because I had a black-handled one that was used when I got it and I later got a NATO Military that I carried some.

Blue Super-Automatic

My cousin bought me this knife at a Mexico border town in the summer of 1984. It has never been used or carried and is in as good of condition as when I got it. OTF knives were often called "stilettos" or less frequently "angel blades" in the 1980s.

Re: BÖKER

Nice and I own several including two I bought in Germany in 1986 and 1991. Those are the best lever locks. Here are a few of mine. I no longer own the one on the bottom which had been sharpened and if I had known back then that autos would become legal for carry in my state, I would have kept it.
