Re: Where to get kits?
You are both correct gents. And I appreciate the advice and the photos. I have built lots of switchblade kits like mikovs and leverlettos. And yes Killgar I also bought various knives from roadside. JB wasn't on the good ones list and it did get hairy sometimes but I did get a lot of knives from him...

Re: Where to get kits?
Thank you killgar. I'm wondering if it will come down to finding an individual willing to remove blades from complete knives. I have found a guy doing this in the US but he is only getting chinese copies. I wish I could travel to Italy and set something up. I remember Skm uses to have a whole catego...

It is good to be back here amongst other blade obsessed people. I am not quite sure under which subject to ask this so moderators please advise if thi...

11" do it yourself.
Hello all. I am not quite sure if this is the best place for this question but I wasn't sure where else to go. I am desparately trying to get hold of an 11" Italian Stiletto Kit. Can anyone suggest anything?

Hello everyone. I have just about read to death mine and the libraries few knifemaking books and I have decided for my sanity to get some knew ones. I should really have done this about four years ago.I was thinking two or three books with each one dedicated to its own specific type of knife or cons...

Re: Anybody carry a knife for self-defense?
This is pretty interesting and funny to read. Cant carry anything in my fair country. My edc is a lil bone handled sheffield slip joint that I inherited from a relative and its great. I'd never use it as a self defense weapon. I like the cane idea. I shall look forward to that one when I'm a lil old...

That would be an awesome addition to any collection. Beautiful and intimidating. And yet the cat shows no fear.

Bucklehead
Has anyone here seen or purchased that belt buckle knife by bucklehead? It looks neat. Don't like the styling though. And the video on youtube is annoying. But still a neat looking knife. A good review by a member or two would be needed before I purchased one myself.

And thanks Tom! That was the jackpot. Did you see the Puma factory? That was brilliant. I would love one of those monster beltsanders. What a setup.

Re: Where to sell knives?
I am replying to this post late but I just want to say that I greatly admire what you are doing and having gotten as far as you have automatically earns my respect. I have had designs to become New Zealand's first switchblade maker and the more I research it the bigger and harder it becomes. Every l...
