Everyone came back and said no it’s Mauro mario but the campolin family owned and run Mauro mario which I’ve read from old posts on sd, I think that’s where the confusion comes from. What date

If a knife is stamped Mauro Mario does that make it early 50s or late 50s ?

I’ve heard these knives have carbon blade so does that indicate earlier production ?

Blade grinds individual to stamps ?

Interesting that most of these knives were made in Maniago by cottage cutlers and it’s said most are the same but different importers stamps, but interesting to note that the blade grinds are all stylised to the specific stamps it has, ie the romo grind angles are very different from everything else...

I liked it before but now it’s just special, beautiful horn I think these knives were supposed to have horn and the old guys tried and tested it and they knew what was best, wooden scales look great on other knives but not stilettos
Just my opinion.
