Oh yes.... It is a lost cause..... I'll be keeping my eye out for a replacement... If i'm luck, I might run across one (one day...) that has a great blade, but has a bad body.... haha. That one came in a lot with, the springer, imco,no named picklock, 2 mexican picklocks, and a few others in bad sha...

I really like the "full-size" bolster also! I also agree with the white scales, not a huge fan of the pearlex, but the aged white look... Beautiful. There was a taxidermy shop auction near me recently... they had some elephant ivory (arms from some chairs) up for grabs.... I did my best to snag em.....

I discovered a site that was selling stuff.... these came in a lot of 6-10 knives, some working, some... lost causes... you never know what your gonna get when you can't see the bottom of a mixed lot bottom!!!!
