Re: Back again?

We return to the Halo III clone! Again, seems the manufacturers cannot wait to discontinue a knife people want! Yes, the retracting handle is rather frangible, but if the price of the knife was no steeper, well, there is such a thing as replacement? And maybe for a few extra dollars, a better retra...

The loudest thwack I've heard out a knife was my Halo III clone, many summers ago :? .

The best accoustics for me would be my 11" kriss Latama.

The strangest most mechanical duet, a 18" clap/ratchet Navaja being flicked open.

Good find there Saikuri!! I used to have a blue Super Automatic with translucent scales and glitter throughout the plastic. Never seen another one like it. Wish I still had it. The Super Automatics used to be sold in Herbertz & Hubertus fliers years ago, I remember seeing them. But I never realized...

Re: Duel action Al Mar

Hi All: I recently purchased a Al Mar Falcon auto. It is a great knife but a bit spendy. I have decided I may want to buy a duel action Al Mar SERE 2000. I like the way these knives look on the web but have never seen one. Does anybody have one or can give me a review? Are duel action knives any go...

In the past 5 or so months I must have seen 3, or 4 Mint original shur snap cards up for sale. Why have there been so many all of a sudden?, are they usually this common?.

Got my lovely mint redscaled pinned Nato for 29.99 on Ebay, including good condition box, and plastic sleeve, I'll probably resell soon. Now this is interesting!, and quite rare, a C.JUL Herbertz Nato, it looks very early too!: http://www.sharperdeal.net/auctiondetails.php?itemname=Older-C-JUL-HERBE...

The 60 grain Subsonic shoots fine out of any .22 I've tried it in but a faster twist to the rifling should make it shoot more accurately at longish range. The "mini shell" for 12 ga. is still availabe. http://images9.fotki.com/v189/photos/1/133294/3502101/aguilla12001-vi.jpg I even have some mini s...

Sorry, no I meant reshaping the spring by tapping it as opposed to bending, for instance when a spring is peeking, "or hanging!" out the handle.

I feel the Boker A.P's button is alittle too obvious to feel safe with in Cali, it's basicly unconcealed. Could try a Bokermatic?, manual slide open, automatic retract.

How long till We see "Any knife opened by lever" added to the naughty list?. don't know about the U.K. ,but here if it contains a spring 1958 of course now it varies so much from state to state ,and what not ,it's almost impossible to tell. But leverlocks were included in the original law. A switch...

Tapping a spring?

I heard this mentioned, so I was wondering how it's done. I can guess, but wouldn't want to ruin the spring, any help greatly appreciated.
