Saul Eig ran an import business in Florida. He imported Italian stilettos, German lever locks, pistols., and other stuff. Bill - thanks for the information. I have an EIG Model E15 .22lr single-action pistol. I never thought of relationship to EIG blades. :D A little info on the firearm story... ht...

Bill - thanks for the information. I have an EIG Model E15 .22lr single-action pistol. Only have one or two old ones. With the Latama in the box stamp. I've heard this is the rarest stamp, but not sure about the earliest, would be cool if this is the very early stamp. Hope to learn more. Excellent blades shown here by all :) That horn is awesome. Wonder what it looked like 70 years a...

Only have one or two old ones. With the Latama in the box stamp. I've heard this is the rarest stamp, but not sure about the earliest, would be cool if this is the very early stamp. Hope to learn more. Excellent blades shown here by all

The stamps just look older style to me, including the Springer Konig stamp on the rear bolster. I have a few Stag fixed blade knives that are quite old and post-war, and are stamped Germany only, and often have the company logo as well. A simple guess is a pattern or standard may have varied by comp...
