big help thank you sammy

Re: Problem with my spring assist

I know how to fix your knife. You need to tighten all the screws. I just fixed my friends spring assist with the same exact problem that you are dealing with. The pivot pin was loose and some of the handle screws were loose I tightened them up and it works like new. I was fortunate to have the prop...

Anodizing question

So I've been researching anodizing titanium recently and read somewhere that you need an electrolyte solution to anodize titanium. I already kind of knew this because I read somewhere else you can use sodium bicarbonate(baking soda) to anodize titanium pieces but hadn't thought too much on it. Anywa...

Yes! I was out in the city a few weeks ago and i had my balisong trainer and the waitress of a restaurant saw it in my pocket and called it a switchblade. Absolutely ridiculous!

Problem with my spring assist

So a couple months back on my yearly trip to Arkansas I bought this generic stainless spring assist flipper. The blade is black and the handle scales are black G10. So the problem with it is after a while the liner lock started drifting so when the blade is open the liner lock now drifts so far to t...

Looking for a new balisong

So I picked up a cheap balisong at a trader bucks for $25 and have used it to flip for a couple months now. I was thinking about grabbing a new one online but I'm not sure what to get. Does anyone have some recommendations? I have only flipped a trainer that weighed 6.2 oz and the knife I have that ...

Re: Balisong

Is that kris style balisong comfortable to flip? I'm guessing it's only single edged.

Re: Balisong Pins

Thanks for the welcome. A funny thing happened a couple days after I posted this, The other pin snapped inside the trainer and the OTHER handle fell off. This was the opposite of what I thought was going to happen the handle I was worried about is still on strong.

Re: Balisong Pins

Yeah if I find pins but they are over the price of the knife itself I'll just pick up a bear and sons trainer. Thanks for the help.

Balisong Pins

So I dropped my trainer today while flipping it and a pin fell out and got lost. Does anyone know if it's possible to switch press fit pins for screws and if so how much that would cost. It isn't a very expensive trainer being only $10 on amazon but it is the only trainer i currently own. (a link to...
