I believe the BA dutch auctions are set up such that, barring a higher bid price, he who bids on the greatest quantity wins regardless of the time of bid. In other words the normal precedent that earier bids take priority is overridden by the quantity bid if the bid price is equal.

It's a real nice one. If I didn't have soooo many commitment$ right now I'd go for it. Hope to be able to have Nemo make one very much like this for me sometime. The high polish on the bolsters and blade contrast nicely with the black ebony wood.

I wasn't around TB.I or BA when this was posted, so I missed out. Those blue scales (at least the one shown) are (is) gorgeous! It doesn't look like the item sold on BA. Don't suppose it is still available? Are there any more with scales that blue? I'd really like to have an 11" with the those blue ...
