Re: Boker improved cutlery
My understanding is that Boker started the 712 / 715 series in the 1960s so I suppose this model could be the predecessor, but as mentioned, the stamp seems to be an older one. The thin bolsters remind me of older leverlocks as well. Of course, as Terry mentioned it could be a Frankenstein knife.I'm...

Re: ProTech Large Don tuxedo
Yes Terry, it has a very sharp tip. I like ProTech's mafia themed models, Godfather, Godson, Don, and all of mine arrived extremely sharp and pointy. Caution must be exercised when handling.

ProTech Large Don tuxedo
Finally found a ProTech Large Don with a plain stainless blade, a tuxedo model. Apparently, large Dons haven't been made for a while and as of earlier this year they weren't on the ProTech production schedule for 2024. It is large for a ProTech, just under 10 1/2 inches open. It is quite the wrist s...

Re: Boker Button Locks
I have a large TopLock with no nail nick, which I remember as being the exception.
One thing I don't have but would like is one of those keychain models like in the photo.

Re: Boker Button Locks
Do you mean the Top Locks and Speed Locks? If so, my understanding is that the Speed Locks were factory auto and the Top Locks were manual from the factory and then could be converted to auto. What I do know is that I bought a bunch of Top Locks, both sizes, with various colors of dyed bone and rubb...

Terry - here is one from today's newspaper I found amusing. Re: Forgotten auto
Like many of us, I purchased a number of Italian stilettos and German leverlocks from Stu back in the early 2000s, usually in quantities of 1 to 3 at a time. Sometimes he would just throw in one of the cheapies with my order. If they quit working, or never worked properly, I rationalized that they w...

Fishtail - in my opinion, the XK8 is one of the most visually appealing cars ever made.

Twobit - I don't carry the knife so I can't help assess whether there are pocket opening issues.

Terry,
You are correct. Mine, which I bought a couple of years ago does not have a safety.
