Re: Feds now ban Assisted openers and Flick knives
I think that's the main reason Spyderco got nailed is California complained about it. I think the state of California, if I am not mistaken, was the one to file the complaint to the Federal Government. Other than Illinois, I think California has most strict enforcement of knife laws.

Re: Balisong importation ban?
All of those make sense on stupidity of the federal government. The reason I brought it up was BUDK, a major knife/sword/weapons catalog, was selling Butterflies for years up till last year I believe. Then they stopped selling them. I asked them why and they said they were ruled switchblades and the...

Balisong importation ban?
What year did they decide to ban the importation of Balisong/Butterfly knives. When did the government decide they were switchblades? Also, why did they decide to go after Spyderco? Many knife companies have been importing Balisongs for years. Why Them?

Re: Some people actually voted for oslima and his troop -
Phil, I think a lot of people started buying his records again for memories of their youth and now he's dead, they forgive him of any child molestation he might have done. But Vagrant has a point, no call to Ed Mcmahon's or Farrah Fawcett's family is wrong if the Jackson family gets a call. But all ...

Re: Which type of blade release do you prefer, and why?
For tightness and zero blade play, nothing beats a picklock. I personally like the bolster release the best because you can close it easily. Picklocks are a pain to close! Leverlocks are the most functional for EDC. OTFs are the most fun to play around with.Button close, except for high end and some...
