.......And had it stolen a couple years later. I've been looking to replace it (10 3/4", ivory-colored handles) and have been coming across them on Ebay (Of all places!!!), including the last one I got, although officially a LITTLE over their 2cm maximum blade length.....!

Still trying to get pics; I have a fellow in Japan that will be interested in seeing it also!

Ancient Japan (Nippon)...

A fairly customized katana style, carried with the edge down. Large brass cup-style guard, leather-wrapped grip. If I can get the pics up, I'd be glad to show it.
