I got my first RIZ in mexico in 1972.....
.......And had it stolen a couple years later. I've been looking to replace it (10 3/4", ivory-colored handles) and have been coming across them on Ebay (Of all places!!!), including the last one I got, although officially a LITTLE over their 2cm maximum blade length.....!

Patton (having a birthday one day before mine) having said"....(T)he point (tip) being the most "useful"part, had never seemingly checked on what the samurai had known for a LOOOOOONG time, that the "first THIRD of the blade" being the weapon used.....Geez, that was the "tip"! Ancient Japan (Nippon)...

Hi, first post! Actually, the "ninja" gathered information (spies) for their fuedal lords. The stories of "magical weapons and powers" came from Hollywood via myths and fabrication.
