There are a few differences between the two. The new ones has a D2 blade, and it also has Zen pins. Having Zen pins allows a longer cutting edge, and to many, a much cleaner look. Why make a new design? I'm not sure, but that handle design may even be trademarked. When is the last time you've seen ...

Is it just me or is thee no difference between the normal BM42 and this ''limited edition'' knife?

Also, the handles on almost all the BM knifes are the same as the BM42 handles right, its only the blade witch is different right?
